1. About Life 2 Legacies

Life 2 Legacies is a private digital vault service operated by Hindle Consultants Pty Ltd (ABN 82 776 195 367), registered in Queensland, Australia (“we”, “us”, “Hindle Consultants”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Life 2 Legacies allows you to store, organise, and share personal, medical, legal, and estate information in an encrypted digital vault. The service includes:

• Encrypted vault storage for personal and estate information
• Contact management and emergency access (ICE) grants
• Living care access for trusted people while you are alive
• Life Messages — date-based personal messages
• Legacy video messages tied to your continuity switch
• Will template wizard (draft document tool only — not legal advice)
• AI-guided life story and ancestry sessions
• Family plan allowing two independent vaults under one subscription

3. Not legal or medical advice

Life 2 Legacies is a documentation and storage tool. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or estate planning advice. In particular:

• The will template produces a draft document only. It has no legal effect until it is properly executed (signed and witnessed) in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction. You must consult a solicitor.
• DNR, advance care directive, and medical preference documents must be reviewed and signed by an appropriate medical or legal practitioner to have legal effect.
• We make no representation about the legal validity of any document generated or stored through the service.

4. Your account

• You must be 18 or over to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and two-factor authentication credentials.
• You must not share your login credentials with anyone except through the co-holder or Family plan mechanisms provided.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

5. Subscription and billing

Life 2 Legacies is available as an Individual or Family annual subscription. A 14-day free trial is provided, with no credit card required during the trial period.

• Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
• Prices are shown in your local currency and may vary by country. Stripe processes all payments.
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email.

6. Your content

You own everything you store in your vault. We do not claim any rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to store, encrypt, and transmit your content solely to provide the service.

You must not use Life 2 Legacies to store content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is used to harass or harm any person

7. Data and encryption

Your vault content is encrypted at the field level. We cannot read the contents of your vault items. You are responsible for maintaining access to your authentication credentials — if you lose your password and two-factor authentication access, we cannot recover your vault content.

8. ICE access and contacts

By enabling ICE access for a contact, you authorise them to request access to your vault after a delay period you set. You acknowledge that once the delay period passes, access is granted automatically unless you actively block the request. You are responsible for selecting appropriate contacts and setting appropriate delay periods.

9. AI-guided sessions

Life Story and Ancestry guide sessions use Anthropic’s Claude AI. During a session, your conversation is sent to Anthropic’s API for processing. By using the guided session feature you consent to this. Session content is not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request. Do not include highly sensitive information (account numbers, passwords, medical records) in AI guide conversations — use the vault fields for that.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hindle Consultants Pty Ltd is not liable for:

• Any loss of vault content resulting from account compromise due to failure to maintain secure credentials
• Any legal, medical, or financial consequences arising from documents created or stored through the service
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss
• Loss of data due to events outside our reasonable control

Our total liability to you in any calendar year is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in that year.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete my data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. On termination, your encrypted data is deleted within 30 days.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email with 14 days’ notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
